does anyone know where i can buy new roof rail weatherstrip retainers for a 1969 chevelle ss 396

I am restoring a 69 and just installed my originals. A friend told be two years ago when I took the car apart to be very careful with the roof rail moldings as you can't buy new ones. Unless someone else knows something different, try the salvage yards. A couple are below:

Those look like rain drip rail moldings to me! I just bought a brand new set from:

They are the stainless steel roof rail weatherstrip channels that hold the weather strips in place where the window rolls up into.:yes:

YOu will have to find those items used either here in the classifieds or on ebay or in the junkyard.
