I just got done pulling the engine out of the car and currently have the transmission supported with a jack cushioned by a block of wood. I'm planning on pushing the car into the driveway and power-washing the engine bay. Does anyone have any ideas on how to support the transmission w/out a jack, so I can roll the car around?
I've done some searching and couldn't find anything. It's a TH400 tranny if that makes any difference.

I usually stick a couple of long bolts through two of the holes in the bell housing a put a pipe, bar or board accross the frame for the bolts to rest on.

I have used 1 inch square metal box tube, cut it long enough to sit on the frame on both sides and use mechanics wire to secure the trans to that.
Not very nice looking but it worked.
