Ok, I always hear about different tuning tricks for getting better timeslips at the track. What exactly is the benefit of disconnecting my vacuum advance? How does this affect my total timing rpm? I hear a few say it does not matter because at the track I am running WOT. What's the scoop?

Won't do any good. At WOT there should be no vacuum so the VA is not active. It's easy enough to try but you shouldn't see any difference.

In my experiance, with street tires, You have to feather the throttle.... and I like the vac advance on. It seems to be more responsive off the line since it's not WOT.
I like it on myself.
