Beaux Aug 12th, 08, 11:15 AM Looks great!
Shouldnt the slots on your rotors be facing the other direction? Have to ask because i see it both ways and not sure if the baers direction matters or not. Curious only because my power slots specified that the slots should face back to front so its exactly opposite of yours.
Sorry to sidetrack. Looks excellent!

They are labelled left and right, notice the "r" on the last pic. I thought they went the other way too.
Andy69 Aug 12th, 08, 12:29 PM Boy, you are getting way too much done.
So, how did you clean your frame?

cool, thanks. Mine are labeled as well on the backside of the rotor but this put the slots in the opposite direction. Odd.
regardless - Great stuff there! :beers:

What is critical, is that the directional cooling vanes are curved so that they pull air from the center near the hub, to the outside near the rim. You can see the directional vanes in the 2nd to last picture. :)

Took it to the blasters, $260 and it was done in a day. Best $200 spent so far on the Elco.

did you measure it to make sure it was straight?
Bishop73 Aug 12th, 08, 1:42 PM Looks great, very good progress.
ss396boy Aug 12th, 08, 2:14 PM did you measure it to make sure it was straight?
Yep, it's straight. It was clear to see how tweaked the old frame was, the lower control arm mount was bent in over an inch.
