Alright here's my setup. It's in a non lightened 1966 Chevelle with a bench seat. I'm going to the track soon and I would like to have an idea of where I'll be at.

-Motor-
Matching numbers 283 CI
Hooker Competition Headers
Flowmaster 2 1/2 inch exhaust out the back
Edelbrock EPS performer intake
Holley 600 Vacuum secondary 4 bbl
K&N Filter

-Trans-
TH 350
Shift kit and hardened gears
2800 Stall

-Rearend-
GM 10 Bolt 8.2
4.11 Richmond Gear
Auburn Pro Series posi

I have a 26" Slick

Can someone help me. I dont know if I'm shifting early, but I usually shift at about 5000 or 5100 RPM. Is this too much or too little? Anyone know where this motor redlines? I raced the car before and I came up with a 16.0 with a stock Glide and a 3.42 gear and a peg leg on 26"tall street tire shifting at 5000 RPM.

Thanks!
