Javier, those are the exact same springs I have in reserve in case I break one. They'll be fine, but are a little light for real high rpm use.

While the heads are off, take all the inner springs out. You'll want to break the cam in on outer springs only. This will also give you a chance to "feel" each guide by moving the valve around. Just to make sure there are no problems with the valve guides.

The 924 spring sees 115 lbs at 1.9", 325 at 1.2, with a rate of 296, so with a .580 lift cam, you'll have 115 + (.580X 296) or 190 or only around 305 lbs on the nose.

That'll be fine if you keep it under control, but you should shim that spring to 1.85" installed, which should give a seat of 130 lbs and a nose of 315-320 lbs, more what Harold wants. And better able to take the trip to 6500, for sure.

So by shimming the spring to an installed height of 1.85, you compress it more and get a higher spring load ( lbs).

You should have plenty of room before coil bind ( double and triple check it! ), but I would slip some .060" spring washers under them, unless they are already setup that way.

You might want to shop around for a bit more spring eventually. But these should work if they're shimmed up.

I hope Harold corrects me if I'm wrong. Its his cam and warranty!
