Good afternoon.I am selling a set of bucket seats out of my 70 SS Elcamino.The seats in the Elcamino have no headrests and have the center release in the seatback.
Can anyone give me an idea on what year and application my seats may be out of ? Thank you, Rod :)

sounds like the seats are normal a-body 69-72 seats. Most likely someone recovered them and just didn't put the headrests back on.

1968 seats had the seatback release on the side, not the center of the back. All 69-72 buckets had it under center, and all had provisions for headrests as they were mandated in 69.

Good afternoon Ben.Thank you very much for the info.Your information promted me to take a closer look at my seats and I think you are right in that someone likely left the headrest out of the seats in the process of recovering them.
You likley saved me hundreds of dollars,by saving me from buying quality core seats! Thank you again, Rod
