I need to get a new rear brake line. It's the line that runs from the master cyclinder to the distribution block. I did measure the front and rear line in mm. The front line is 3/16 (4.75mm) and the rear line is 1/4 (6.35mm) The master cyclinder is from cpp. My question is, what size are the fittings that screw into the master cyclinder and the distribution block?? Will post pics.
I have front disc and rear drum brakes. The preowner put a proportioning valve on the rear line, which is leaking at the fitting on the (out) side.

Am I seeing that correctly? The aftermarket proportioning valve is in-line with the combination valve--which also has the factory proportioning valve?

I bet that doesn't work very well.

There is a standard-size inverted flare fitting that goes with the 1/4" brake tubing; but some applications use a special thick-wall tube nut having a larger thread size. I think they do this so the tubes positively cannot be threaded into the wrong holes.

You may have to pull the tube out and measure the threads on the tube nuts. (First Guess: It's the standard size 7/16-24.)

Common as dirt in the USA; probably not so common in Germany. Here's the description of a long tube nut, I couldn't find a description for a short one easily. You could use either.
