I'm considering buying a pair of used MT 28x10.50x15 ET Drags. I'm in contact with the seller by email and am trying to determine the specs of those tires, from a distance Do MT's have the part/model number, stamped into the sidewall, such as 3055S, which is what I'm looking for. He says they're not wrinkle walls. I'm aware that the compound code and manufacturing date are included in the serial number. Also, how deep the are the wear indicators, on new MT's? He does claim the tires are 2 years old, but only used once. I'll get the serial numbers from him, and see for myself. Should I be leary of 2 year old MT's, or should they be good for a couple more years, if I don't wear them out first? Any other identifying factors would be helpful. Thanks

As in other post I would worry about the tires being 2 years old.As long as they arent dry rotted or cracked.Also make sure they didnt get into the quarters also which seems to happen with slicks alot.As far as the wear if the holes are gone then its a good idea to get new slicks.There is obviously material below the holes but after the holes you have no way to gauge the thickness and you could get into a dangerous situation without knowing it.Just look for obvious signs of damage and you should be ok...good luck
