What would it take to put the front end off a 71 CHevelle onto a 70 El Camino? I may be picking up a 70 Camino with no front end or drive train for $150. I figure I have extra fenders, hood, bumpers from my Malibu. Might make it into a driver.

I don't think the body lines will even come close to matching.

'70, '71 &'72 will bolt on, but the fenders have a bulge on the side and won't match your doors which are flat sided. For some reason, when GM restyled for 1970, they put the bulges on the coupes & sedans, but not the El Camino or wagon. The nose will have to be from a El Camino or a wagon only. A '68 or '69 nose (any body style) might be an option too, but I haven't actually tried it yet. Good Luck!
