My wife pays her mom's cable tv bill, as her mom is on a limited fixed income. Over the last several bills there has has been several pay per view movie charges each month show up on her moms bill. Mom does not order the movies - she doesn't even know how to.
There could be a scenario where her son or her grandson who live nearby and frequently drop by, could be ordering movies, but both deny being the culprit.
Charter claims their system is foolproof - we matched up the cable box number with the number Charter has and they are the same. Charter claims the remote control tied to that cable box on her living room tv has been used to order the movies.
Could some neighbor or outsider be hacking the system? Or is there some other easy answer here?
Is their pay per view movie system bullit proof? Anyone have a similar experience?
Thanks,
Tony
