Well, I just ordered new pistons, Forged SRP domed.

I was wondering what the compression actually works out to with a stardard thickness head gasket... Ive been playing with different calculators with mixed results. Heres the specs

4.28" bore
4.25" stroke
6.385" rods
1.27 compression height
43cc dome
Standard deck BB
SRP say's 12.7:1 static
Can anyone show me how to calculate the compression by hand?
Thanks! :D

Please go over to the ROSS Racing Piston site and play around with their "Compression Ratio Calculator"..

It's a hoot to play with, imho..

You would have 12.7 with zero deck, (9.780") 119cc head & a .040 gasket.
With the nominal 9.800 deck height you will have about 12.0 assuming a .200 down ring pack & a 4.250 head diameter.

I'm sorry, I missed the part where you said you had played with them...
