if you were going to drop 800 bucks on a complete new dash assembly would you buy dakota digital www.dakotadigital.com (http://www.dakotadigital.com)
or covans classic. www.covansclassic.com. (http://www.covansclassic.com.) does any one use eaither of theese and what problems did you have if any. ? thank you :confused:

Have used Covans with autometer guages on customer's Camaro with great results. No warpage after 1st summer in 120+degree weather and he does park it in the sun when he drives it into work. He does use a dash cover though so that could have an effect on protecting it? Haven't tried Dakota, so no comment on theirs.

Use the Coven classic with the Auto Meter guages. My opnion for a more sleak and clean look. Old cars look bad with digital numbers in them. My opinion.

Since the 70-72 dash is pretty much all one moulding for the entire length, how does one fuse the Coven panel into the complete dash?

Hands down, the Coven classic. I don't like the digitals that use blue lettering because I like my blueblocker sunglasses. And yes, they do block the blue so you can't read the $%***@@ gauges.
