The Swede Nov 20th, 04, 12:51 PM I'm going to build an street engine to my -70 Chevelle and a friend of mine who has built many race Chevy engines told me to get Aluminium heads to what ever engine I was going to build...What do you guys think about that ? 70SS540 Nov 20th, 04, 1:04 PM Swede, If cost is not an issue, aftermarket aluminum heads are the only way to go. BUT how big a motor you want to run them on?? I ask this b/c a 6,000rpm 454 takes a different head then a 500", big bore-short stroke, 9,000rpm Pro Stock motor is all... pdq67 | ||
