Getting ready to paint the frame. I knocked down some areas with36 then 60 grit disc on the angle grinder. Then used a roloc 60 grit dull disc. Should I go down to 80 grit on the D/A??? Don't want to paint it to find out i can see grinding marks.

I smoothed the front rails and will need to put down a little filler on it.

The 80 grit should work pretty good, when I did mine I went over it with red scotchbrite, and I used quite a few sheets of scotchbrite, it wears down pretty quick, it needs to cut pretty good.

You'll need to use primer/surfacer for either of those grits but I would use the 80 grit anyway just so you have fewer scratches to fill.
