I had a 700r4 rebuilt to put in my 69 Chevelle, the trans. shifts great when in the OD position. Smooth through all 4 gears and then locks the torque converter like it is suppse to.

Now the problem I have is when I put the B&M (MEGA SHIFTER -RACHET SHIFTER);) in first gear, wind the engine and shift to second it shifts great, quick and clean.
NOW, when I shift it to third gear it takes the trans. about a second to a second and a half to shift into third gear. This is the only gear it does this in. It is not shifting slowly it just does not start to shift.

Any thoughts on what is causing this.:(
It is not a real big deal, except when I am at 6 grand and want it to shift immediately.:yes:
It does not seem to matter what RPM's I am at, 3000 or 6000, it still does it.

how does it do in automatic mode wide open throttle?

Tell you the truth, I never had it in Auto wot.
Usually when I'm in Auto, I am just taking it easy.

Hi,We recently put a B&M mega shifter into our 73 Camaro. Driving norm.it works fine.But pull in down into low and romp it ......It will not shift until you let off the gas...then you can bump it into gear. Any idea as to what going on? Any info would be appreciated!
