Best to just ask whatever you need, then someone that knows can respond. The more specifics and background information you can give, the better.

I bet his 66 has a powerglide or a 3 speed with the small diameter flexplate/flywheel, and wants to know which flexplate he will need if he swaps out to turbo 400 and will the old starter work with the larger diameter flexplate.
If thats the question.
number one. you'll need a 14 inch flexplate, Check to make sure it will let you bolt up your torque converter.
number two, you will need a different starter, or at least swap out the nose.
number three, if your going from a turbo 350, you can use the same flexplate and torque converter in the turbo 400.
number four, if your swapping to a turbo 400, remember, you'll need a shorter driveshaft, and different yoke. Hope this answers a few questions. jim
