How is everyone setting up the stance of their chevelles? In the back I'm not sure if I want to use air shocks or coil over shocks in? In the front I kind of want to drop it about 1 1/2 inches. I thought about getting shorter coil springs. Any thoughts? I kind of like the rake look but open to the best looking stance. Any help?

Thanks
Eric

I would like to know also. I remember my brother's lime green '67 elky with it's butt high in the air and fat MTs. That was cool in the '70s and early '80s. I think my earlier model would look better low and level. I have coil overs in front and was thinking about 1" lowered springs in back with air shocks for fine adjustment and when loaded.

I have stock springs in the back, no air shocks just KYB shocks. The picture in my signature is with stock springs in the front, it was sitting too high, so I put 1.5" lowering springs in from CCP and it sits much better now. It was also amazing how much better it handles after putting in the lowering springs. I will try to take some updated pictures tomorrow.

Asking for the best looking stance is like asking who is hotest female.

In my opnion I like chevelles, I like top of the front tire to be level with the fender and to and the rear to tuck the rear tires due to the wheel well shape.

i agree with that al the way, am looking for away to lift the back end of my 70 elky right now without going to air bags, yours brother's sounds exactly like what i'm doing, a guy i know is selling a sweet set of drag radials and so i need my back end lifted to fit them and not rub, and get the look i want
