On my 1972 Chevelle 350 A/T, I was messing with my setup and I was cutting a piece of tape that was in my way (retaping them to look better), and I accidently snapped my Neutral Safety Switch (purple wire) in half. Didn't see that wire in there but hey, things happen. The cosmetics part of the car looks great but I need to get that new wire (purple looks good, I'll stick with that color) to get the car back up and runnin'. I'm going to go pick it up today at my local parts store and rewire it. My question is: What size gauge is that wire and what size should I purchase? Don't wanna get too little or too big in case that'll mess something up. I'm not a big fan of electrical issues so any help or input would be appreciated!
