When you click on your flashers, what exactly does that activate? Is it a ground side switch to both blinkers, or ??? what exactly does it do? If it's a ground side switch and has no other impacts, I'd like to use it for something else..

thanks in advance,

The purple is the + ouput to the switch, the switch distributes the + power to the bulbs.
When the switch is ON it heats up the bi metallic strip inside the can
(because the bulbs fillaments are grounded) then opens (the circuit) cools down and then closes again.
(blink - blink)
I hope that makes sense ?

Hey guys, I realized last night while pushing pins in teh connector that I would more likely be wanting to use the brown "hazzards" wire and not the purple "flashers" wire.

So can you tell me what type of switch the brown/hazzards wire provides? +12V or ground?

Thanks again,
