im putting a M21 in my chevelle, my dad said i should think about putting a shield in for extra protection. He said a fly wheel can bust through the bellhousing and enter the inside of the car if something were to go wrong. Any recomendations. Are the difficult to install?

LISTEN TO YOUR DAD!!
If you had ever seen a flywheel or clutch come apart you would not consider running a clutch car without one.
It is as easy as changing your bellhousing as that is what it replaces.
