Whats the duration @ .050?
You'll want a convertor in the 3500 range...

Flat tops and a 64cc head (.040" quench) in a .060" over 350 is about 10.35:1 SCR. That's low for a cam of that size. I recommend going with a cam of 282º or 284º adv dur. I'd stay below 290º in any case. You can go with the 108º LSA if you like. The 310º cam will be pretty much of a stone below 3000 rpm and not much fun on the street.

No, by using premium fuel and keeping timing within reason like 34-36* you will be fine!

Pat is correct - That CAM is way too big to be driving on the street- especially with a 2500 stall converter. You can forget about power breaks as well. Go to a smaller cam.

With 10.35:1 SCR and a 310º cam, you can run 87 octane, maybe lower if you can find it (DCR about 7.2). Drop 20-25º off the advertised duration and you'll have a much more powerful engine. Widen the LSA and you have better vacuum and gas mileage. Lots of overlap just kills gas mileage.
