I have a 1964 chevelle malibu ss. It should be going into the booth this week for new skin. Black over candy apple green. The main part of this car I would like some help with is the stance. I recently purchased the CPP 12" disc kit with the 2" drop spindles. my goal is to ride on 275/45/17's in the back and 245/45/17's in front. I think thus far I have figured out the backspacing with info provided by American racing (oh yeah, Hopster's 17x7) what lowering springs should I get for the rear any info will be great?

Hey Emit...My experience with lowering springs is that it's trial and error most of the time. You have to have all the weight in the vehicle to really see how it's going to sit. Then you have to factor in the fact that the springs will settle in after some time as well.
That's why I went with air ride on the front of my car (rear is coil over). I can set the ride of the car for driving, then slam it when it's parked somewhere.
