Has anyone tried anything like this for a idiot light SS to guage swap?

http://i22.ebayimg.com/03/i/000/db/6f/9f3a_2.JPG (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-70-71-72-CHEVELLE-SS-EL-CAMINO-MONTE-TACH-GAUGES_W0QQitemZ370071267425QQcmdZViewItem?hash=it em370071267425&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318#ebayphotohosting)

Someone on ebay has this for about 350-360. Seems lick a OK deal but I would like to know where the guages come from. Anyone familiar with this?

It seems to be an ok deal but on that much coin I don't like to deal with someone on ebay. Buy it from Ausleys or NPD or someone if you have a problem you can send it back. If the tach don't work thats a $200 dollar bo bo. But I'm pretty sure thats what you will need to change over.

I bought one one these kits,I don't have them installed in the car yet.The gauges are made in Taiwan.I'm sure all aftermarket like this are coming from the same place no matter who sells them.
I'll post when get them in car.

My son just bought that set, if that is the one from So Cal, the guy was great to deal with, set it in a couple off days. And yes they are China made, most of the aftermarket ones are.

Yes you can get gauges individually from most of the Chevelle parts vendors. But again they are all most likely coming from the same place overseas.
