Has anyone used their brake conversion kit? I really like the idea but I am interested to know how well the set up works and how difficult the install is. Would a big brake kit from CPP? be better? The web site is http://www.brphotrods.com/ Any help appriciated!:hurray:

What size wheels are you running (or do you plan on running). The BRP kit didn't fit in my 16" VWW wheels (would have worked with a 0.25" spacer, but that wouldn't work for me). I think some 16" wheels will work though.
The CPP kit needs 17" wheels as well and uses a truck-type C15 caliper. I'm not sure if there is a wide variety of brake pads available for these calipers. I also think (?) they use a "custom" rotor versus the LS1 part that you can pick up at any parts store. I have heard feedback from a few folks that have used the CPP kit though and they were satisfied.
The popular thing to do these days seems to be swapping in C5 corvette brakes up front using a kit (similar to the BRP deal). There are several vendors for the C5/C6 kits including KORE3 (http://www.kore3.com/products.php?cat=11), SpeedTech (http://www.speedtech-performance.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=51/category_id=217/home_id=123/mode=prod/prd51.htm), and Touring Classics (http://www.touring-classics.com/).
IF I had 17" wheels, I'd look into a C5/C6 kit or the LS1 kit from BRP since I like the idea of being able to replace the wear items easily with parts-store stuff if I needed to, but that's just my opinion.
