This will be my first time to the track since high school (1980). I have a 69 elky with a street 540, th400 and 373's. I bought a new set of 10.5x 28x 15 slicks. They use to just check for 5 lug nuts and a break peddle. What will I need to bring besides tools and a spare part or two? I have no clue as to how fast it will run. These are supposed to be the fun drags and I just want to see what kind of number I can post. I have a roll-bar....what else.
Thanks in advance.

Driveshaft loop is going to be required for the slicks. If the Elkie hooks you are probably going to need a helmet
Radiator overflow catch can is a must.
Double return spring on throttle.
Those are couple of things they check for here when they are running the "fun drags".
