Pretty simple deal to wire it all up. If you have a two-step already, how do you activate it? Is it wired to a switch or your brake pedal? You now need to wire the two-step and the transbrake so that both are engaged when you have the transbrake button pushed in. What did you get for a trans from Coan? Just curious, he has good stuff but often is quite pricey compared to other very similar units.

why do you feel the need for the two step??..
i have been running a well my old trans ( april-june) was equipped with a coan transbrake and i never felt the need to use a two step i just mashed the gas the tach went to 4500 and i let go of the button and wow insta whiplash smile.gif
Unless you dont want a high rpm launch ( where your converter is rated ) you shouldnt need a two step... jmo
oh and wiring is easy just run one wire from the transbrake to the trans case ( i used the old flywheel cover holes ) for your ground and run the other wire to a switch of your choice i ran mine to a light in the dash and then to my switch so i can see when it is engaged ( the car is loud smile.gif )
I suggest the dedenbear adjustable switch so you can fine tune the reaction time of the switch for your reaction time on the tree!

Let me try again. The reason Im asking is because I run nitrous which works off the gas pedal/micro
switch so therefore I can't hold the pedal to the floor!!Need someones in-put that runs nitrous.I don't want to use a delay-box.Answer to what kind of trans-th 400 with a break, rev patteren.$1,066.Calling them today about the price because the coan web site said less than $950.Should be here today sometime.
Thanks

Actually the trans case is a poor place to ground the solenoid unless you have an additional ground strap to the chassis. The absolute best thing to do is to have a very good 12g wire for the solenoid hot and ground circuits as more wire diameter means better amperage handling. Also use a 15A fuse or breaker before the switch to protect the solenoid. The solenoid should not draw over 8A in normal situations.
