In my 3 week layoff I got some stuff I have been wanting to do for a while done/almost done:D on tweety.

Serviced the trans, lowered the LCAs, installed some ADJ uppers provided by mike, T-stat fixed.

The metal on that damn control arm mount is the hardest mother friggin metal I have ever tried to drill. Which is good for the car, but not for me working on it. I am gona spray paint the area with some white so I can easily see if there is any cracking on it. I dont know what its gona do but the bars were moved about 2.5"s lower and it should hit the tires way harder. Gona be alot more strain on the control arms.

I am also trying out a different filter on the trans, its a brass screen as opposed to a paper filter. Also gona try running some synthetic blend trans fluid.

Yeah I am gona do the fuel filter, timing change when I run the motor next week.

If it detonates driving around at 38, I will buy some AV gas of my buddy and run half N half on it.

Definitely gona take a dump before I race next time, oh yeah and not gona be running a hood or front bumper next time either.:thumbsup:

keep your hood ON. without it really messes up your aerodynamics & alot of wind will be being pushed by your firewall.

I will probably only make one pass like that, mostly concerned about the 60ft. Or I could just race one of the slower guys and let off at 1/4 track and coast to a win:D
