anybody have any suggestions for a set of good headers to put on the lt1 going in my car. it has the aluminum heads with d shaped exaut ports,and also has angle plugs

Troy, Stahl, and the other non-assembly line header manufacturers will make their headers with just about any port shape configuration.

Troy, I remember seing an ad for Hedman Headers advertising that their common SB headers were available with a "D" port flange. I believe Sanderson also offers their headers with a "D" port flange. HTH
