Have determined that bypass/heater hose fittings will not remove without destroying. Originals, and rusted big time in place. Have soaked, heated, and pounded. DO NOT want to destroy a 1966 Q-Jet intake. What are my chances of drilling out then retapping with correct 1/2 NPT threads. Would hope to retap into original threads. Who has experience with this? Tell me your outcome, did it work? Which is the harder metal, the cast intake or the nipples? Talk to me Goose. :cool: Thanks....thud
