Took the day off today, and took my kids for a walk through Cathedral Grove Forest. Some of these trees are 2000 years old. It's a beautiful hike through if you're ever up this way. Went for a swim in the lake after, and made for a really nice afternoon.

Once home, however, rolled the Chevelle out of the garage and did a few updates:

*painted the roll cage...after Brian shamed me into it :D
*changed the 100 jets up to the 150's
*hooked up my volt gauge
*hooked up a fuel pressure hobbs switch, and a fuel pressure light switch...in the event of oil pressure failure, my fuel pump switches off. However, with fuel still in the bowls, it will still run for a bit...not a good idea when hitting the juice.:noway:, although the f/p hobbs would kill the spray solenoids. I just like gadgets. :)

So I hooked up a hobbs switch to trigger a red light on my dash when the fuel pressure dumps, a nice visual cue to back out of it if I'm making a pass on the juice. :yes:
