Can anyone using 2-1/2" Flowmaster, Pypes or TorqueTech tailpipes either e-mail or post a quarter panel shot of how the tailpipe is routed behind the tire and the end of the pipe? I'm in the market for a new system for my 65 and I want a tailpipe that is tucked up between the quarter panel and frame with a turn down at the exit. I couldn't find any pictures on the Flowmaster website but I know a lot of you guys are using these.
Thanks

I have a 65 Chevelle with Torque Tech exhaust.
I'm not sure exactly what you're asking for a picture of, but if you explain it better I will take a picture.
My passenger side tailpipe is Torque Tech but the Driver Side is Flowmaster since the driver side Torque Tech wasn't bent right, I even called them and they sent me another one, but it still didn't look right (wasn't a mirror image of passenger side).
But the Flowmaster fits and looks correct.
However, if I install my slicks (26x8.5x15 on Centerline Autodrags with 4.8 backspacing) on either side of the car, they won't fit unless I remove the tailpipes.
So, if you're planning to use wide tires in the back I wouldn't recommend the 2.5" tailpipes from either Torque Tech or Flowmaster.
If you find something better that allows the use of wider tires, let me know so I can replace mine.
Thanks.
