This looks like a much better deal than the 70 I looked at today.
Are those Z-28 wheels or did they offer them on Chevelles in 72?
They look like the wheels that were on my Brother's '72 Z28.

Yes that was the SS wheel for 71 and 72. 71 and 72s seemed to be priced where you get more Chevelle for your money. It's that most popular year deal :)

If that car is an original 72 SS, it should have a W in the vin #. The W meant it was a 454 car

They don't say anything about being an ss. With this being the case I would say the car is worth closer to 15k if it is very very nice. No way would I pay anywhere near 20k for that car.

$20,000?????? seems high. yes those rims came on chevelle ss, Malibu ss, and the heavy Chevy. you got front disc brakes with a big block chevelle, and a 12 bolt rear end. you can not build one for that cheep.

Try selling one then. I have sold about 3-4 70-72 BB Chevelle clones in the last couple years that all had 12 bolts with disc and didn't get anywhere near 20k for any of them. It sounds like you should be able to get that kind of coin but reality will set in.

1972 Custom,

The Heavy Chevy did NOT come with the 5-spoke 'SS/Z-28' wheels
They came with the ugly 14" second design Rally Wheel found on thousands of 70s Camaros Heavy Chevy did not come with the trim ring so went from ugly to super-ugly.
