A truely nice man, with a great quest for knowledge and performance like not many others had or will have. I ran against John in Dallas years ago on a qualifying pass, his A/ED and my A/D, and he beat me to the stripe, lol. He is just beating the rest of us to a better place now. He will be missed by many.

A true competitor and great human being. John took life by the horns and enjoyed it without fear. His company is carrying on his tradition.

My best to the family.

Sad. But he is in a better place now. I have been only reading about him since I was a kid. That name always will mean fast in my book.

God Speed.

Met him once at The Woodburn Dragstrip during the Pro Stock Invitational.Roy Hill was there too.
Both were very nice and friendly.
