I just got back from looking at this car.
http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/car/750403751.html

I'm going to make him an offer, but I don't think he'll back off of his price. In fact, I fully anticipate he'll turn me down. But this is a very solid car. The only major work it will need is new quarter panels on both sides. He said the trunk pan will also need to be replaced, as does that piece between the trunk and back glass. But the rest of the sheetmetal is good and straight. All the glass is there. The front and rear seats are still there, as is the dash. It will need new cosmetic pieces for the dash, but it's there. And of course, the seats need new covers.

It doesn't have an engine or transmission, but that goes with the territory.

This is a very good restoration candidate and if he doesn't take my offer, I hope one of you guys will jump on this.

I saw that a few days ago. I think the price is OK as 2 door cars are getting few and far between when they're mostly complete. Go for it!

Not a what is it worth topic, just a heads up for anyone who might be interested.
