My 402A3LUN cam says to make sure I have the right distributor gear for my distributor. I know this means one is 'regular' or whatever and one is bronze...but how do I know what I need and what works? My distributor is a standard Accel HEI..will this be okay? Thank you.

Is that a roller cam? If so, I believe they're made out of steel, instead of iron, so they require a matching distributor gear. Make sure you ask the manufacturer for their recommendation.

Nope it's just a solid flat tappet cam. I'll try to call Lunati sometime, thanks..

The cam uses a stock iron gear.
I would highly recommend you spend the few dollars it costs for the factory GM Melonized gear on any cast cam change regardless of what the cam manufacturers tell you especially with MSD distributors.
The gear needs to be honed to .500" for MSD.
