MMTB=More Money Than Brains
Nice MoPar, but anything at this price ought to come with three bedrooms and/or be able to fly supersonic:

I see Somebodies not keeping up with rare Mopar values.
A numbers matching 440 6 Pack Challenger R/T Vert? 1 of how many?
Galen Goviea states there were 99 1970 Challenger R/T verts produced.... How many were 440 6 packs? How many remain?
That's a rare bird, obviously attempting to cash in on the new Challenger's release, but still a very rare bird indeed.
I'd say if you want one....... You won't have much of a chance to comparison shop.
With 1971 Hemi Cuda Verts hitting $2.5 Million and more, this R/T almost seems like a bargain.
If Galen certified it in the Chrysler Registry, it's as good a gaurentee of originality as you can get.
A Rare certified Mopar thouroughbred. Hard to swallow, but there it is.

That car is indeed the real deal. Chrysler used screws to hold the tags on...that's no big mystery:noway:
It's also very rare as John stated and certified by Galen...and the guy who's repping the car is also a very knowledgeable car guy that only sells first rate stuff. I am also proud to call him my friend.:thumbsup:

I guess you're right about my not being up to speed on prices. I knew the Hemi cars had gone insane years ago but I'd always entertained the notion of maybe having a six-pack car someday (preferably a 71 RoadRunner :)). Putting that one in my "never gonna happen" file now....that file sure does get thinker by the day, doesn't it?
BTW, wasn't doubting the autheticity of the car for a minute; it's a documented car and the dealer's got terrific feedback......just hate to see the prices getting pushed ever-higher, since the rest of the market will most likely get dragged upward right along with it. Great if ya happen to be selling a car, not-so-great when it's time to pick out the next one.
Heh, I can remember when the kid down the street picked up a ragged 69 340 Cuda for $900.....gone are the days. :(
