I remember this one commercial that Budweiser had out in the mid to late 80's. It had two weiner dogs (Dachsunds) sitting in a drag racing stage area getting ready to race. The green light goes and they're OFF! Their stubby little legs are going a mile-a-minute just like the Roadrunner. They make it down the track and one Dog turns to the Camera with a big smirk on his face and at that moment a Giant Parachute pops out his ass and he starts to slow down.

I swear to God this is the funniest commercial I have ever seen.

Does anyone remember it and does anyone know where I might download a copy of it?

I have looked everywhere for it and cant find it.

What other commercials from Budweiser in that era do you guys remember. (This would be in the Spuds Mackenzie Days!)

I remember it. Don't know if there is a copy on the net anywhere. Might have to find someone who recorded the Nascar races back then, and see if they have anything. I remember the Bud Light commercials with all the references to lights, and the three frogs with Louie the lizard.

My wife designed the material they used for the Budweiser Frog's tongue that caught on to the 18 wheeler in the mid 90's commercial.

I don't know if it was an official title of the commercial or not but I remember it being called the wienerdog winternationals. I laughed my a$$ of when i saw it. :D

wow I missed that one as a kid thats just too darn funny. my family was into football and baseball they didnt watch nascar or should we call it tuner car now

My favorite one is one with the frogs when one of them is in a drag boat and either another frog did it or he did but they accidently hit the starter and it goes shooting across the water and the frog is glued to the seat and screaming. I`ll see if i can find it.

Those are some good ads for Bud. Interestingly, now the new owner is from Belgium. It will be interesting to see how the new ads will look.

I could be mistaken but in the wienerdog winternationals video I'm pretty sure that's Victoria Jackson from Saturday Night Live fame. I always thought she was funny, and hot. ;) :D

I never did see a single Whaats uuup commercial when they aired in the late 90s. Just heard everyone else saying it. Did see a paradee of it featuring the super friends cartoon once online though. Never seen that one agian since either.
