I swapped out the bench and column shift in my Chevelle for original bucket seats, console and floor shift auto with a floor shift tilt column. Used a Shiftworks conversion plate when I added in the 700R4. Looks stock until you look close and see the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Overdrive positions. Found a nice set of original GM black bucket seat backs and lower wraps but my interior is dark blue, code #725. Paint is Mulsanne Blue #26 with white rally stripes. Has anyone used a GOOD vinyl dye to match the stock dark blue color of the dash and door vinyl to re-color black b/s trim to match? Have heard good things about "Sem" or such but don't find anything like that in local parts supply shops. Sure would look much better in the interior with correct blue buckets.

Yes, Vinyl Dye is the only way to go for interior stuff. If done correctly (meaning clean good first to remove fingerprints, Armor All and grease) it will last almost forever.
