Not sure, but wouldnt mind having a 86-88 IROC...always loved those Camaros....
Too bad none of them looked like they had T-Tops though....:(

i forgot how nice those cars look when they are in good shape. you get so used to seeing them beat to a pulp. a lot of cars would fall into that category though; not worth enough to justify restoring, but would be nice cars if someone did.

the 85 and 88 could be worth 12-15k. The 89 RS I would think around 8k. The 2 84sI would expect to be less as that square front end doesn't appeal to olks as much. Those are my guesses. I wish I had room for that 88 IROC :)

First brand new car I bought was an 84 Z-28, red with grey interior. 6 months later the H.O. 5 speed came out and I just HAD to have one! Got another red one loaded with the crazy red/orange striped interior. In six months I had 4.11 gears, Standard HEI, Edelbrock intake, over the counter Q-jet for a 454, hotter cam, headers with the side by side duals and skipped all computer controls. I ran in the low 12's at Epping N.H.
That car ran really well even with little to traction. I sold it a year later to buy a 69 Chevelle SS as a daily driver. The 16 year old kid I sold the Z to wrapped it around a tree two days after his old man handed him the keys. At least he didn't get hurt. I really liked that Z.
Wonder if the 84 would get decent gas mileage? That wasn't something I ever paid attention to ;)

I also love the 3rd gens. I had an 84 for about 15 years and got great service from that car. By the time I let it go, the unibody was so creaky and weak that it was basically a piece of junk that still ran good. The 3rd gens make great cars with the proper upgrades (subframe connectors, strut-tower brace, and many performance engine upgrades are also available), but without at least the chassis upgrades these cars quickly turn into rickety heaps. I had a 95 Z28 convertible and the complete ride package was 10 times better than the 3rd gen. I must say that the 4th gen is a much higher quality car than the 3rd gen. That's my well experienced 2 cents worth.

4th Gen's look too gentle though :)
