I have 350 motor and it was just rebuilt and when I put it back together I baught a new MSD ignition system for it 6AL box, pro billet distributor, coil and universal wires. When we got the initial start up it ran good and we timed it then after about two days of running it in the garage we went to start it up and would not start. We tested the the power leads and it was getting power to the box, coil and distributor and we took the box back to see if that was the problem and when we put the new box in it still would not start. we checked to see if it was getting spark and it was not. I have heard that there has been problems with the pro billet distributor surging or something. We could not think of anything else that could be wrong with it. Any suggestions?

I had a similar problem once and found a positive wire to coil was loose, tightened and she fired right up! Check those connections! :D

Also on the MSD6al box make sure the white wire isn't touching ground, this will cause no spark! graemlins/waving.gif

Unplug coil wire from distributor and see if you get a spark to ground and don't get shocked! smile.gif
