Hello!

I just signed up here today and thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Matt. I am 26 years old and live in Omaha Nebraska. I am a Sr. Systems Engineer by day, and a car junkie by night.

I just brought home a new toy last night that I had to drive to Des Moines, IA to get. I am still fairly new to the Chevelle scene, so forgive me if you see me asking some very n00bish questions

If you have time, be sure to visit the H&H Chevrolet All Chevy show this Sunday July 20. The Heartland Chevelle Club (Lincoln and Omaha area primarily) will be there with a number of member cars.

Thanks for the heads up:thumbsup:I was wondering when that show was going to be, hopefully the weather will be good, these storms have been something else lately. I had to soupe up my motor a bit just so I could stay ahead of the tornadoes:D

A 1972 Chevelle SS "clone". At least that is what they called it. Pictures are here if you are interested:

Welcome to the club Matt. I am originally from Fremont, and am currently modifying a frame off of a 65 2 door wagon. This site pays for itself in knowledge alone, and then there are the great deals on the classifieds and with the vendors too. Welcome aboard!

Trust me Mitch, Rich's 65 coupe is as sweet as it gets. He was kind enough to give me a ride in it. Very cool. His 2 door wagon project is really cool too! He is the go to guy for me with 65 questions. Hope you guys have fun at the show this weekend. I'll be in your area in early August, but I will be at the Car Craft Natl's next weekend.

Hello and welcome Matt. Did you check the 5th digit in the VIN to see what engine was originally in your car?
