Hey guys. Well things went fine today it made it all over the place then on the way home it would die without keeping on the gas. Things were pretty tight after the quick tune up so I dont know if something could have knocked out of place. Just how touchy is the distributor? With it in park I can barely hold an idle at 750rpm's then of course putting it in gear it drops off and quits. There were the slight carb problems too with the bowls or something hanging too low?

is the distributor hold down tight? you might check to see if the timing moved on you.

This is a possibility, try turning the distributor counter clockwise slightly and see if that restores your idle. Or just do a simple crank of the idle screw on the carb. Anthony said that he does remember junk in the carb that may have clogged idle passages or the distributor may have moved because it was not snugged down all the way because it did not have a timing tab on the chain cover.

Hey Craig!
Yeah I think the distributor is ok I am thinking the idle passages on the carb got junked again, I'll tinker with it a little more today and this weekend if no go maybe i'll pull the carb top and clean it out however Beaux did it seemed like he knew what was going on graemlins/thumbsup.gif Happy Turkey! I'll let you know what happenes.

sounds like a vacume leak to me.check all vacume lines before you start tearing carb apart
