Added a new wiper motor from Groundup for hidden wipers on my 70 Chevelle coupe but the wipers won't park, any ideas how to fix? Is the connecting rod between motor and articulating arms the same for both hidden & non?

Sounds like your wiper motor arm is in the wrong position? Take your wiper blades off the car before testing it.
Its the little bracket that has 1 nut holding the wiper bracket in place rotate it 180 degrees.

Also could be the ground. I had the same problem on my 67, but as soon as I correctly grounded the motor, the wipers parked as soon as I turned on the key

When you say they won't park, They park in the wrong place or they don't stop.
If they don't stop it is more than likely the internal switch is not working. Park or stop in the wrong position would be a simple adjustment. Pop the cover and watch the switch.

Take the wipers off, turn on wiper motor then turn it off, put the wipers back on in the parked position.

well careful with just putting them back on with the motor parked, make sure if you do that the wiper dont try to go down into the cowl. Id say take the arms off, run the motor and let it park making sure the motor will run the arms the correct way the put the arms on.
