I was recently given a 77 Sprint, in excellent condition, and I am very curious as to the swap-ability of parts. Being as this car is older than I am, I'm not sure as to what will fit and what won't. I have a few specifics.. it still has it's stock 305, with 79,129 original miles, original tranny, actually original everything. I'm not a big fan of the grill and light setup, so I'm curious if front end sheet metal from an early 70's chevell will fit. Also, not a fan of the 305 and would like to swap in a 383, and I'm curious about swap ins for the rest of the drive train. Basically, I'm just looking for any tips, help, and or advice anyone might have......
-Thanks.....The Fat Kid...-

Nope, early Chevelles are totally different, has to be 73 or newer body style.

The Laguna front end from 73 or 74 should fit and look better than the quad light system. The engine and tranny from any year will fit. The 8.5" rear end is a tough unit and will hold up to quite a bit of power. With axle upgrades even more power can be run thru it.
