So after selling my prostreet 69 chevelle a little over 1 year ago,I've been looking for a small tire 69 chevelle to buy. Some of you may remember my post a couple of weeks ago about a chevelle in Ashtabula,OH.Micky Hale went and checked it out for me before I could get there(Big thanks to him for that),then a few days later I drove up,and we made the deal, and the owner delivered it for me this past friday. So here's a few pics of it.It needs a few cosmetic things, but I'll get to that in time.

Adam, Nice looking '69:thumbsup:
What color is that? Car looks clean. What are the drivetrain specs and what did it run for the prior owner?
Congrats on the new purchase. I must say, you were very patient.

Very nice. That looks like something I'd like. It doesn't have anything it doesn't need. No huge cowl hood, nothing flashy on the out side. Just a great looking hotrod that I'm sure can hold it's own on the track. Congratulations on the find! It looks fantastic.

Get any timeslips with it? Judging by the cage and window net, I suspect it's got as much "go" as it does "show"

That's a sweet looking ride, love the tires and wheels, the paint, the setup. It doesn't look to comfortable though. ")

But, then again, trips down the track won't last long in that thing.

Good luck and have fun with that beauty.

Glad to help, nice car, color is cool on it. Black out the tail panel in the back, little clean up here and there, small details, and its a really nice ride.

Yep,I was thinking of doing the back panel in black. And I've already got a list of things to clean up/replace,etc on the car.Super Chevy is this weekend at maplegrove and will be picking up parts I need, etc.
For those that asked. The color is Prowler Flame orange, and it's never been down the track..........yet.I need to go over the car before I do that though

Have you driven it around yet since it was delivered? If so, how does it feel? Any guess as to what you think it would run? What are the specs of that motor and drivetrain?

Only drove it in and out of the garage.I need to get it insured(going with Grundy, and in the process of getting paperwork done),it also needs PA inspection, and tailpipes installed.
The motor is a 461",LS7 crank,LS6 rods,12.7 comp,680ish lift roller,427 L88 Snowflake alum heads,weiand intake,830 or 850 Demon carb,th400 with transbrake,4000 stall,12 bolt with 4.88's.It's all steel and all real glass,etc.I figure,and hoping for it to run low 11's.Oh yeah,it also has CE 4 link rear suspension,all factory upper/lower control arms removed.
