Angry.
Fired up the "Beast" today. Hit the start switch, and it immediately roared to life. Didn't even crank over. Just fired up. Sounds AWESOME. Had one small oil leak where we failed to plug one of the "dual pattern" oil pan bolt holes. That took 5 minutes to fix, and then we fired it up again. It runs smooth, very throttle responsive, and obscene amounts of torque.
Started the day bolting the converter to the flexplate. First time rotating the flexplate to get to the bolt, the spanner wrench slipped, and caught the wrench in the mouth. Had to shove a wad of paper towel in my mouth so I could finish getting the converter bolted up. Then had to completely disassemble the distributor to get in under the tunnel ram manifold.
Anyway, my butt is draggin. I am going to take a shower, and assault my pillow. I have been working on this since last November. It has finally happened, and tonight, I am going to sleep like a small block.
