The Cowboys improved dramatically at most positions, if that is even possible from a 13-3 team. Their real only weakness last year was at corner, now they pretty much have 5 guys that would start on any team. I didn't see the beloved Patriots improve their team from last year. I welcome that rematch in Big D or your house. I don't need any points either, straight up

By the way being a Cowboys fan, and growing up in NJ, I despised the Giants and have never pulled for them, but I must admit, I was a huge Giants fan during the Super Bowl. Does that loss still sting? :) 18-0 and fumbled right as they were gonna cross the finish line, I love it :) :)

Rae Carruth, that's all I'll say. While Jerry Jones certainly has no moral compass, no one from his team has ever been convicted of murder. The reason I don't mention Rae Carruth's team is because......................it's irrelevant.

These are grown men. Their teams are their employers, not their freakin' babysitters. Also, and here's somthing that might surprise a few folks, these athletes are drafted from all over the country. :clonk:

How is it a reflection on the city and state that a team calls home, when the athlete in question is from someplace on the other side of the country?

An athlete represents his team and its hometown, but only in a limited capacity. As an individual, he is still responsible for his own actions.

I got news for you guys. The days when an ahlete with a reputation for trouble, or with a history of trouble, was driven from the game and never allowed to play again, those days are gone. Remember Steve Howe? How many last chances did he get? As much as it sucks, the standards for athletes bear no resemblence to the standards the rest of us have to live by. If I test positive for drugs, I'll never get to work on aircraft again, EVER! Think this is something new? Remember how the jocks in high school used to get away with anything and everything? Just think bigger.

The solution is, stop going to the games. Stop buying tickets. Stop buying all the crap that says Cowboys, Patriots, Giants, Dodgers, Yankees, etc. Stop buying from the companies that advertise during games. Cut off the money. Stop being the enabler with your money. But since that won't happen, EVER, stop griping.

I agree with everything you are saying Randy. But, the stuff we guys are talking, going back and forth is just fun. Kind of ribbin' each other back and forth, nothing to worry about. A bunch of guys on an Automobile site won't put a dent on the money these teams are bringing in. Hell, overseas is where a lot of the money these teams make. I think it was two years ago (maybe last year) TOs jersey was the number one seller; I think it was Canada. Not for sure on that, but I know it wasn't here in the states.

I watched the Super Bowl with one die-hard Pats fan and a bunch of people who wanted to see the Giants win. The Pats fan had a real mouth, but I was just a little bigger than him, so he didn't have too much to say when I started celebrating their loss. When the game ended he stood up, pulled off his Brady jersey, and underneath he had on a Red Sox jersey. Guess he wasn't too confident.
