Well, I have been working on my 71 Malibu for awhile now, trying to reach my goal of a solid, 13 second street car. So far I am in the mid 14s, but I am making progress. Tonight I went to the local 1/8 mile track to work on reaction times and launch technique. My first 3 runs, the car ran consistent 9.6 ETs @ 77mph, with 2.3-2.4 60ft. On my fifth run, I tried footbraking with teh left foot, while revving with the right foot. I don't have a tach yet, so I am not sure what rpm I was up to. Anyway, my 60ft on this run came all the way down to 1.89!! Yet, I still ran 9.6@77mph. (However, I did knock down a .522 reaction time!! A new personal best!!)
Am I missing something?
My combo is in my sig. I am gonna try and add a link to my geocities website, the timeslips are there:

Wow you pulled a 1.89 60' with 2.73's, single trank, and street tires!?

Error in the Tracks Timing system, You dont go from 2.3's -2.4's to 1.89 just from that slight of a change.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe the 60' was not updated from the last run?? I don't know. But does this mean the 60ft, 330ft, 1/8, 1/4 are on different timers???

A 1.89 would have put you in the high 8's 1/8 mile
