I tried to order a Vintage Air system today and was asked if I have a short pump or long pump? I didn't know the difference and don't recall where the measurement was to be taken. I attached the photos below, do I have a short or long water pump? Thanks!!!! (SBC 406) :beers:

Gary....Try to fit a finger between your timing cover and pump, If they fit its long. It appears to be a long pump but hard to be sure from the angle your photo. On a short pump you wont be able to get your fingers in between. Good Luck

I can get my fingers up to my first knuckle (finger tips) in between the pump and the timing cover. I have big fingers!! Not to brag or nothin :D!
